I am originally from Oxford, North Carolina, but this is my sixth year teaching at South Stokes! I'm a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I received my Bachelor's degree in English. (Go Heels!) I also completed my Master of Arts in Teaching at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. 

 

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, DIY projects, reading, and spending time with my nieces and nephews. The highlight of my summer was visiting France and Spain: spending time on the beaches in Barcelona, shopping in Madrid, and visiting the Lourve in Paris. 

 

This semester, we will learn skills necessary for success in college and future careers. I'm here because I'm passionate about teaching and helping students become the best people possible. I can't wait to meet you, and I'm looking forward to a great year!
